17 Troubleshooting
If SA065 is not working properly or the display
freezes, you can reset it without losing data:
How do I reset SA065?
Insert a pen tip o r other object into •
the reset hole locat ed at the bottom of
SA065. Hold until th e player shuts down.
If the reset option is u nsuccessful, follow •
the steps how to recover S A065 with the
Philips Device Manage r:
1 On your compu ter, select Start >
Programs > Philips Digital Audio Playe r
> SA065 Device Manager > Ph ilips
Device Manager to launch t he Philips
Device Manager.
2 Turn off SA065 b efore you continue.
3 Press an d hold the volume button
while you connect SA0 65 to your
comp uter.
4 Keep holdi ng the key until the Philips
Device Manager ackno wledges SA065
and enters the re covery mode.
5 On the comp uter, click the Repair
button and follow th e instructions of th e
Philips Device Manage r to complete the
recovery process .
6 When th e recovery is completed,
disconnect SA065 f rom your computer.
