Monitor function
Youcan switch backwards and forwards between TV picture
andvideo recorder picture with the MONITOR button.But this
onlyworks when you use a scart cable to connect the video
recorderto your TV set and if your TV set responds to this
switch-over.
Sorting and clearing TV channels manually
Youcan assign any programme number to a TV channel that
youhave stored and you can also delete unwanted TV
channels.
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bPressthe MENUbutton on the remote control. The main
menuwill appear.
cSelectthe line ’CHANNEL ALLOCATION’ with Pror
Pqbuttonand confirm with the OK button.

whichyou want to give a programme number (starting
with’P01’).
eConfirmwith the OK button.
DIfyou want to delete a TV channel, press the
CLEAR(CL), ybutton.

numberto all TV channels.
gToend, press the TV/STANDBYmbutton.
Setting the language
Youcan select the language for the on-screen display (OSD).
Thesmall display on the video recorder will only show english
text.
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bPressthe MENUbutton on the remote control. The main
menuwill appear.
cSelectthe line ’LANGUAGE’ and confirm with the OK
button.
dSelectyour language with the Pror Pqbuttonand
confirmwith the OK button.
eToend, press the TV/STANDBYmbutton.
Setting the time and date
DIfa TV channel which transmits TXT/PDC is stored
underprogramme number ’P01’, time and date will
automaticallybe taken from the TXT/PDC
information.
Ifthe time in the video recorder display is not
corrector if ’--:--’ appears in the display,please
setthe clock manually.
aSwitchon the TV set. If required, select the programme
numberfor the video recorder.
bPressthe MENUbutton on the remote control. The main
menuwill appear.
cSelectthe line ’CLOCK’ with the Pror Pqbutton
andconfirm with the OK button.
