MSC [Mass Storage Class]

The USB mass storage device class (or USB MSC or UMS) is a set of computing communications protocols that provide an interface to storage devices. Devices that support this standard are referred to as MSC (Mass Storage Class) devices.

Media Transfer Protocol supports the transfer of music and video files to portable audio and video players.

Using a software program that “grabs” digital audio from a compact disc and transfers it to a computer hard drive.
