ingair bags, hazard lamp buttons or (iii)
impairthe drivers ability to safely oper-

6Aswith any accessory in your vehicles in-
terior,the display should not divert your
attentionfrom the safe operation of your
vehicle.If you experience difficulty in op-
eratingthe system or reading the display,
pleasepark safely before making adjust-
ments.
7Donot attempt to install or service your
displayby yourself. Installation or servi-
cingof the display by persons without
trainingand experience in electronic
equipmentand automotive accessories
maybe dangerous and could expose you
tothe risk of electricshock or other ha-
zardsand can cause damage to the sys-
temthat is not covered by warranty.
8Pleaseremember to wear your seat belt at
alltimes while operating your vehicle. If
youare ever in an accident, your injuries
canbe considerably more severe if your
seatbelt is not properly buckled.

!Toavoid the risk of accident and the potential
violationof applicable laws, the front DVD or
TV(sold separately) feature should never be
usedwhile the vehicle is being driven. Also,
reardisplays should not be in a location
whereit is a visible distraction to the driver.
!Insome countries or states the viewing of
imageson a display inside a vehicle even by
personsother than the driver may be illegal.
Wheresuch regulations apply, they must be
obeyed.
Thisunit detects whether your vehiclespark-
ingbrake is engaged or not, and prevents you
fromwatching a DVDor TV on thefront dis-
playwhile driving. When you attempt to watch
aDVD or TV, the warning VIDEO VIEWING IS
NOTAVAILABLE WHILE DRIVING will appear
onthe front display.

Parking brake interlock

Certainfunctions offered by this unit could be
dangerousand/or unlawful if used while driv-
ing.To prevent such functions from being
usedwhile the vehicle is in motion, there is an
interlockwith the vehicles parking brake. If
youattempt to use these functions while driv-
ing,they may be inoperable.
