Scrollingtitles in the display

Thisunit can display the first 19 letters onlyof
D.Title,D.Artist,T.Titleand T.Artist. When
therecorded information is longer than 19 let-
ters,you can scroll the text to the left so that
therest of the title can be seen.
%PressDISPLAY and hold until the title
beginsto scroll to the left.
Therest of the title will appear in the display.

Selecting tracks from the track

title list

Tracktitle list lets you see the list of track titles
ona CD TEXT disc and select one of them to
playback.
1 Usethe joystick to select TRACK LIST.
2 Usethe joystick to select the desired
tracktitle.
Moveup or down to change the track title;
clickto select.
Thatselection will begin to play.
#Togo to the next group of track titles, move
thejoystick to NEXT and click it.
#Toreturn to the previous group of track titles,
movethe joystick to PREV and click it.
Using compression andbass emphasis
Youcan use these functions only with a multi-
CDplayer that supports them.
UsingCOMP (compression) and DBE (dy-
namicbass emphasis) functions lets you ad-
justthe sound playback quality of the multi-
CDplayer. Each of the functions has a two-
stepadjustment. The COMP function balances
theoutput of louder and softer sounds athigh-
ervolumes. DBE boosts bass levelsto give
playbacka fuller sound. Listen to each of the
effectsas you select them and use the one
thatbest enhances the playback of the track
orCD that you are listening to.
1 Usethe joystick to select COMP.
#Ifthe multi-CD player does not support
COMP/DBE,NO COMP is displayed when you at-
temptto select it.
2 Movethe joystick left or right to select
yourfavorite setting.
