Changing the wide screenmode
Youcan select a desired mode for enlarging a
4:3picture to a 16:9 one.
%PressWIDE to select the desired set-
ting.
PressWIDE repeatedly to switch between the
followingsettings:
FULL(full)JUST (just)CINEMA (cinema)
ZOOM(zoom)NORMAL (normal)
FULL(full)
A4:3 picture is enlarged in the horizontal direc-
tiononly, giving you a 4:3 TV picture (normal pic-
ture)without any omissions.
JUST(just)
Thepicture is enlarged slightly at the center and
theamount of enlargement increases horizontally
tothe ends, enabling you to enjoy a 4:3 picture
withoutsensing any disparity even on a wide
screen.
CINEMA(cinema)
Thepicture is enlarged by the same proportion as
FULLor ZOOM in the horizontal direction and by
anintermediate proportion between FULL and
ZOOMin the vertical direction; ideal for a cine-
ma-sizedpicture (wide screen picture) where cap-
tionslie outside.
ZOOM(zoom)
A4:3 picture is enlarged in the same proportion
bothvertically and horizontally; ideal for a cine-
ma-sizedpicture (wide screen picture).
NORMAL(normal)
A4:3 picture is displayed as it is, giving you no
senseof disparity since its proportions are the
sameas that of the normal picture.

videosource.
!Whenvideo is viewed in a wide screen mode
thatdoes not match its original aspect ratio, it
mayappear different.

Adjusting the pictureadjustment
Youcan adjust BRIGHT (brightness),
CONTRAST(contrast), COLOR (color) and
HUE(hue) for each source and rear view cam-
era.
!Theadjustments of BRIGHT and
CONTRASTare stored separately for light
ambient(daytime) and dark ambient (night-
time).A sun ormoon isdisplayed to
theleft of BRIGHT and CONTRAST, respec-
tively,as the ambient light sensor deter-
minesbrightness or darkness.
!Youcannot adjust HUE for PAL video.
