Setting for rear view camera
CAUTION
Pioneerrecommends the use of a camera
whichoutputs mirror reversed images, other-
wisescreen image may appear reversed.
Thisunit features a function that automatically
switchesto the rear view camera video
(VIDEO2/BACK CAMERA INPUT jack) when
arear view camera is installedon your vehicle.
Whenthe gear shift is in REVERSE (R) posi-
tion,the video automatically switches to a rear
viewcamera video. (For more details, consult
yourdealer.)
!Confirmthe setting immediately whether
thedisplay changes to a rear viewcamera
videowhen the gear shift is moved to RE-
VERSE(R) from another position.
!Whenthe display changes to a rear view
cameravideo during normal drivings,
switchto another setting.
!Toreturn to the source display, press
V.ADJ.
1 Usethe joystick to select AV INPUT2.
2 Movethe joystick left or right to select
B.CAMERA.
3 Movethe joystick down to select
POLARITY.
4 Movethe joystick left or right to select
anappropriate setting for polarity.
!BATTERYWhen the polarity of the con-
nectedlead is positive while the gear shift
isin REVERSE (R) position
!GNDWhen the polarity of the connected
leadis negative while the gear shift is in RE-
VERSE(R) position
Setting the automatic open
function
Toprevent the display from hitting the shift
leverof an automatic vehicle when it is in P
(park)position, or when you do notwish the
displayto open/close automatically, you can
setthe automatic open function in the manual
mode.
Furthermore,to adjust the LCD panel slide po-
sition,you can turn the set back on oroff.
1 Usethe joystick to select FLAP SET.
2 Movethe joystick up and the LCD panel
slidesto the back.
#Movethe joystick down and the LCD panel
slidesto the front.
3 Movethe joystick left or right to select
thedisplay to open/close automatically or
manually.
Movethe joystick left to select MANUAL, and
youhave to press OPEN/CLOSE to open/close
thedisplay. Move the joystick right to select
AUTO,and the display automatically opens/
closeswhen power to this unit is turned on.
Setting the clock
Usethese instructions to set the clock.
1 Usethe joystick to select CLOCK ADJ.
2 Movethe joystick to OFF and click it to
turnthe clock display on.
ONwill appear in the display instead of OFF.
Clockdisplay is now on.
#Toturn the clock display off, move the joystick
toON and click it.
