Explanation: | If this command is sent when the player is in Random Access | |
| Mode or Setup Mode, the Reject Mode starts and disc rotation | |
| stops. When disc rotation completely stops, the completion | |
| status is returned, and the player enters Park. NOTE: If this | |
| command is sent while the player is in park, the LD disc tray is | |
| opened. |

IMPORTANT NOTE
When using the PLAY command with an address, the auto stop function will be released if any other command, including a status request, is sent to the player before the specified address is reached.
Use the Stop Marker command to achieve an auto stop PLAY function that will allow for status requests and maintain the end address marker.

Explanation: | If this command is sent when the player is in Open, Park or Reject | |
| Mode, the Setup Mode begins and disc rotation is started. When | |
| the player is ready to begin playing the audio and video content of | |
| the disc, it enters Pause Mode at the first position in the program | |
| area of the disc. Then the completion status is returned. | |
