Showsthe function status.
%PressFUNCTION to display the function
names.
PressFUNCTION repeatedly to switch be-
tweenthe following functions:
Repeat(repeat play)Disc title listRandom
(randomplay)Scan (scan play)ITS Play
(ITSplay)Pause (pause)Comp. (compres-
sionand DBE)
#Toreturn to the playback display, press BAND.
Note
Ifyou do not operate the function within about 30
seconds,the display is automatically returned to
theplayback display.
Repeating play
Thereare three repeat play ranges for the
multi-CDplayer: MCD (multi-CD player re-
peat),TRK (one-track repeat) and DISC (disc
repeat).
1 PressFUNCTION to select Repeat.
PressFUNCTION until Repeat appears in the
display.
2 Presscor dto select the repeat range.
Presscor duntil the desired repeat range ap-
pearsin the display.
!MCDRepeat all discs in the multi-CD
player
!TRKRepeat just the current track
!DISCRepeat the current disc
Notes
!Ifyou select other discs during repeat play,
therepeat play range changes to MCD.
!Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-
verseduring TRK, the repeat play range
changesto DISC.
Playing tracks in a randomorder
Randomplay lets you play back tracks in a
randomorder within the repeat range, MCD
andDISC.
1 Selectthe repeat range.

2 PressFUNCTION to select Random.
PressFUNCTION until Random appears in
thedisplay.
3 Pressato turn random play on.
Random:ON appears in the display. Tracks
willplay in a random order within the pre-
viouslyselected MCD or DISC ranges.
4 Pressbto turn random play off.
Random:OFF appears in the display. Tracks
willcontinue to play in order.
Scanning CDs and tracks
Whileyou are using DISC, the beginning of
eachtrack on the selected disc plays forabout
