• Before finally installing the unit, connect the wiring temporarily, making sure it is all connected up
properly, and th e unit and the system work prop erly.
• Use only the parts included with the unit to ensure proper installation. The use of unauthorized parts
can cau s e malfun ct ions.
• Consult with your nearest dealer if installation requires the drilling of holes or other modifications of
the ve hi cle.
• Install the unit w here it doe s not get in th e driver's w ay and cannot inj ure the pa s s enger if there is a
sudden stop, li ke an e me rge nc y stop.
• If install ation an gle exceeds 30° from hori zontal , t he unit mi ght not give it s optimum pe rformance.

After inserting the holder into the dashboard,
then select the appropriate tabs according to
the th i ckness of the das h boar d ma terial and
bend them.
(Install as firmly as po ssibl e usi ng the top
and the bottom tabs. To secure, bend the tabs
90 de grees .)
