Use to set the listening volume.

EFFECT/CH SEL

Press repeatedly to select a channel, then

use LEVEL +/– to adjust the level (page 28).

Also adjusts the level of the Advanced

Surround effects as well as Dolby Pro Logic

RECEIVER

Switches the receiver between standby and on.

2Listening mode buttons

STANDARD

Press for Standard decoding and to switch between 2Pro Logic II and Neo:6 options (page 22).

ADV.SURR

Switches between the various surround modes (page 23).

STEREO

Switches between direct and stereo playback (page 24). Also selects the Auto Surround mode(Auto playback on page 22).

LEVEL +/–

Use to adjust the effect and channel levels.

MUTE

Mutes/unmutes the sound.

6 SHIFT

Press to access the ‘boxed’ commands (above the buttons) on the remote. These buttons are marked with an asterisk (* ) in this section.

7SLEEP

Press to change the amount of time before the receiver switches into standby (30 min

– 60 min – 90 min – Off). You can check the remaining sleep time at any time by pressing SLEEP once.
