Select one of four equalizer presets – Standard (flat), Music, Film or Speech – or select Custom to create your own according to taste. The five frequency bands are 100, 300, 1000, 3000 and 10,000 Hertz (Hz).

disabled.

Digital Audio Out: The PD520 can output either two or six channels of digital audio. Select Dolby Digital if your A/V receiver can decode a Dolby Digital-encoded, 5.1-channel bitstream. Otherwise, select PCM to have the PD520 output PCM-encoded, stereo audio.

Speaker: To disable the speakers, select Speaker from the Audio menu, set it to Off and press ENTER. The effect is similar to using the MUTE button, except that the PD520 “remembers” this setting if you turn off the display, then turn it back on.

Audio Delay: Use the Audio Delay control to correct audio/video synchronization issues that can occur with some types of source material. Select from 0 to 40 milliseconds of delay, as needed.
