To Format a Memory Card
Formatting a memo ry card deletes all data al ready stored on it.
Set the Mode selec tor to SET mode. Turn on the camera.

You can format a memory card on the camera or
on a co mputer. However formatting a memor y
card on a computer ta kes much longer.
•
Note that data de leted by a format o peration
cannot be r ecovered. Make sure you do n ot have
any useful data currently stor ed on a memory card
before you format it.
•
Formatting a memory card destroys all the pictures, even those are
protected.
Copy Internal Mem ory pictures to a Memory C ard.
Turn off your camera and insert a SD (Secure Digital) Card into the Card
Slot.
Set the Mode selec tor to Playback mode and turn o n the camera.

A selected picture in internal memory will be copied to a memory card.
