• Set Flash Mode
Turn on the camera, set the Mode selecto r to Auto or Manual. Press the
Flash button to cycle through the  ash settings and sele ct the one you
need. When you  rst press the Flash button, the L CD screen will turn
black and th e Operation LE D will blink in red which indi cates the  ash
is charging. When chargi ng is complete, the icon (according to the  ash
setting you sel ected) will appear on the LCD screen. You can now take
pictures using the Flash mode you selected. The  ash will recharge after
each  ash picture.
Flash Range:
•
Wide: 2.6 ~ 10 feet (0.8 ~ 3 me ters)
•
Telephoto: 2.6 ~ 6.7 feet (0.8 ~ 2 me ters)
The camera has four  ash modes (default setting is Off). Diff erent  ash
setting applie d to different situation :
Flash Mode on, the  ash  res for eve ry picture. Use this
setting in hi gh-contrast situ ations to provide  ll-light or use it
indoors in low light.
Flash Mode off, the  ash d oes not  re. Use this setting
for outdoor pic tures or where  ash is prohibited or may
be d istracting. Also use whe n shooti ng toward a re ective
surface, such as a window or mirror. If you do not have enough
light when using thi s setting, your pictures wi ll be too dark.
A
Auto Flash Mode, the  ash  res automatically as ne eded. Use
this setting to take mos t pictures.
Red eye, Us e this sett ing to avoid red glare in your subject ’s
eyes. The camera  res a brief, pre ash  ash before the regular
ash.
NOTE:
•
Flash modes are not available in Video mode.
•
Never touch or block the  ash or the exposure sensor with your  ngers. Doing
so can soil these components and interfere with the correct  ash operation.
• Setting Self-timer
Your camera is designed w ith a self timer function wh ich will allow you
to take pictures with the 2 or 10 seconds built-in time r. Please place the
camera on  at surface or use a tripod for the Self-ti mer function.

Set Mode selecto r to Auto or Manual.

Turn on the camera.
3.
Press the Self-tim er button to cycle through the s elf-timer setting.

Self-timer is off.
2 SEC. Self-timer indicates a co untdown of two
seconds.
10 S EC. S elf-timer indicates a coun tdown of ten
seconds.

Press the Shu tter button to take a picture. The camera sta rts
countdown. When
is selected, the Self-timer LE D (on the front of
the camera) will b link 8 times before the pi cture is taken. When
is
selected, t he Self-timer LED blinks slowly for 4 times, then quicker
for 8 times and very q uick for anothe r 8 times bef ore the picture is
taken.

Another b eep (if beep is t urned on) will sound when the picture is
taken.
