• Setting Exposur e Compensation
You can adjust the exposure compensation valu e (EV) within the range
of -2EV to +2EV in order to compen sate for current lighting conditions.
This se tting can be used to obtain better result when shooting with
backlighting, indirect indoor lighting, a dark background, etc.
Set the Mode selec tor to Manual and turn on the ca mera.

NOTE:
•
A higher EV value is best used for light-colored subjects and backlit subjects. A
lower EV value is best for dark-colored subjects and for shooting outdoors on a
clear day.
•
When shooting under very da rk or very bright conditions, you may not
be able to obtain s atisfactory resu lts even after per forming exposure
compensation.
You can also set picture res olution and compressi on in Auto mode.
Set the Mode selec tor to Auto and turn on the camera .
