Using the Basic Features of your SpectraLink 8020/8030 Wireless Telephone

Your SpectraLink 8020/8030 Wireless Telephone is designed to be used like a cell phone on a public switched telephone network (PSTN).

Only one call is active at any given time. The active call has audio associated with it. There may be multiple other calls:

•On hold

•In an “Incoming call” or “Ringing” state

This chapter provides basic operating instructions for the SpectraLink 8020/8030 Wireless Telephone. This chapter contains instructions on how to:

•Turn the handset on and off

•Lock and unlock the keypad

•Place a call

•Place an emergency call

•Answer a call

•Place a call on hold

•Answer a second call

•Resume a call on hold from standby

•Redial last number dialed

•Silence the ring

•Change the ring volume

•Adjust the speaker or headset volume

•Mute/unmute a call

•End the call

•Change the profile
