TRIGGERSWITCH
TheTRIG GER SWITCH is used to turn on
the unit. Squeeze the trigger switch to
operate the unit after lock-- outbutton
has been pushed forward. Release the
triggerto turn the unit off.
TRIGGER LOCK--OUTBUTTON
The TRIGGER LOCK--OUT BUTTON is a
control featuredesigned to prevent the
motor from being accidently started.
Whenthe rear handle is grippedin a nor-
malcutting position, the lock--outbutton
can be pushed in by thethumb, permit-
tingthe index finger to squeeze the trig-
ger.It is not necessary to maintain pres-
sure on the lock--out buttononce the
triggerhas been engaged.
BAR OIL CAP
TheBAR OIL CAP is u sed to fill the ba r oil
tank.
CHAIN ADJUSTING WHEEL
TheCHAIN ADJUSTMENT WHEEL is used
to adjustthe chain tension.
POWER CORD
The POWER CORD is used to connect
thechain saw to an approved extension
cord.
CHAIN TENSION
It is normal for a new chain to stretchdu r-
ing first 15 minutes of operation. You
shouldcheck your c hain tension frequent-
ly. See CHAIN TENSION under the SER-
VICEAND ADJUSTMENTS section.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Use only a voltagesupply as specified on
your unit.
