Terms Used in this Guide

Throughout this guide, several terms are used in reference to the moving of discs into and out of a PowerFile, and into and out of the internal drives. The following definitions are used to address those functions:

PowerFile: PowerFile C200, R200 or R200S

Load:

Inserting a disc through the front panel and into the carousel of the PowerFile.

Mount:

Directing a disc to move from a carousel slot to an available PowerFile drive.

Unmount:

Directing a disc to move from a drive back into the carousel.

Unload:

Moving a disc from the carousel and through the front panel, removing it from the

 

PowerFile.

These terms will be used throughout this manual, and will be seen as menu items in the software interface. On the PowerFile front panel, there is a button labeled Eject, which performs the "Unload" function of ejecting a disc from the PowerFile.
