Terms Used in this Guide
Throughout this guide, several terms are used in reference to the moving of discs into and out of a PowerFile, and into and out of the internal drives. The following definitions are used to address those functions:
PowerFile: PowerFile C200, R200 or R200S
Load: | Inserting a disc through the front panel and into the carousel of the PowerFile. |
Mount: | Directing a disc to move from a carousel slot to an available PowerFile drive. |
Unmount: | Directing a disc to move from a drive back into the carousel. |
Unload: | Moving a disc from the carousel and through the front panel, removing it from the |
| PowerFile. |
These terms will be used throughout this manual, and will be seen as menu items in the software interface. On the PowerFile front panel, there is a button labeled Eject, which performs the "Unload" function of ejecting a disc from the PowerFile.
