Installing the MediaFinder X Software

Important!

Install MediaFinder X before connecting the PowerFile(s)!

Each PowerFile requires a separate MFX software activation code. An administrator name and password is required for installation.

1.Open the MediaFinder X Installation CD icon and then launch the “MediaFinder X.pkg” file.

2.Follow the on-screen instructions and then restart at the prompt.

MediaFinder X Preference Pane Interface

Following installation, a MediaFinder X preference pane will appear in the System Preferences under the ‘Other’ category.
