Introduction

This manual is provided by Powermatic covering the safe operation and maintenance procedures for a Model PF-BS Stock Feeder and Fence for Band Saws. This manual contains instructions on installation, safety precautions, general operating procedures, maintenance instructions and parts breakdown. This machine has been designed and constructed to provide years of trouble free operation if used in accordance to instructions set forth in this manual. Description

The PF-BS Stock Feeder is designed for mounting to a band saw table 24” or larger in width. This heavy duty Stock Feeder has a cast iron frame, and is ideal for plank splitting and under-bark trimming. The serrated steel rollers provide a positive grip on the workpiece, and the tension against the workpiece can be quickly and simply adjusted by turning a hex nut. The adjustable feed rate covers a range of eight speeds.
