Caring for the Blender

Replacing the Cutter Unit Assembly

Cut Hazard

Always place cover on container when blending.

Do not put hands, spoons, or other utensils in container when blending.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in broken bones, cuts, or other injuries.

Replacing the cutter unit assembly

The cutter unit assembly should be checked daily for worn, loose, or damaged blades. If the cutter unit assembly is worn or damaged, it should be replaced immediately.

1.Loosen the retainer nut on the bottom of the container.

2.From the bottom of the container, press the cutter unit assembly up into the container and remove it. CAUTION--Blades are sharp!

3.Make sure that the gasket is properly seated on cutter unit assembly, then install the new cutter unit assembly in the bottom of the container.

4.Tighten the retainer nut SECURELY, but do not overtighten.
