The Time display— When the manual mode or the iFIT.com mode is selected, this display
will show the elapsed time. When a program
is selected, the display will show the time remain- ing in the program.
The Distance/Pace
sheets of clear plastic on the metal contacts on the pulse sensor, peel off the plastic. Next, stand on the foot rails and hold the pulse sensor with your hands on the metal contacts. Avoid moving your hands. After a few seconds, the Pulse indi- cator below the Calories/Pulse display will light, and then your heart rate will be shown. For the most accurate heart rate reading, continue to hold the contacts for about 15 seconds.
If the displayed heart rate appears to be too high or too low, or if your heart rate is not displayed, lift your hands off the pulse sensor for a few seconds. Then, place your hands on the pulse sensor as de- scribed above. Remember to stand still while mea- suring your heart rate.
