Youcan either choose AUTO SELECT,
whichwill sense the type of monitor
attachedto the output and select NTSC

theremay be an undesirable small delay
andsome flickering of the screen during
theAUTO-SELECT process.
Aswith computer monitor, video screens

TVtypes can vary based on their aspect
ratio. The common monitors fall into one
ofthree categories:4:3 (PS/Pan and
Scan),4:3 (LB /Letterbox) or 16:9 (
Widescreen).Playing a video recorded in
oneaspect ratio on a monitor with a
differentratio can result in some
mismatchesand undesirable display
distortionor cutoffs. Read the following
toassist you in setting up the TV type:
Selectthis when connected to a
conventional4:3 size monitor. The
picturewill fill the entire TV screen.
However, due to the mismatch in aspect
ratio, parts of the movie at the extreme
leftand right sides will not be visible
(whenplaying a 16:9 size movie).
4:3(Pan and Scan) format is the factory
defaultsetting for this product.
