You can power the receiv er using either:

• Four AA ba tte ries

• Standa rd AC power (w it h an opti onal AC adapter)

• 12-vo lt DC vehic le power (with an opti onal DC adapter)

INSTALLING BATTERIES

You need four AA batteries (not supplied) to power your receiver.

For the best results, we recommend alkaline batteries, such as Ra-

dioShack Cat. No. 23- 552.

Cautions:

• U se only f resh batt eries of the requi red size and re commended

type.

• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries

(standard, alkal ine, or rechargeabl e), or rechargeable batteries

of differ ent capac it ies.
