Entering a Pausein a Memory Number
In some telephone systems, you must
dial an access code (9, for example)
and wait for a second dial tone before
you can dial an outside number. If your
phone is connected to one of these
systems, you might want to enter a
pause at the appropriate point when
you store a phone number in memory.
At the appropriate place in the number,
press PAUSE to enter a 2-second
pause.
P appears. For a longer pause,
press PAUSE again.
Note: Each PAUSE entry uses one dig-
it of memory.
