RECORDING A MEMO

A memo is a message you can record at the TAD for yourself or others. You can record memos of up to 60 seconds long in each line.

Memos are stored with incoming mes- sages, and are replayed the same way (see “Playing Messages” on Page 13).

Follow these steps to record a memo.

1.Press MEMO. appears, the TAD beeps, and both line indicators flash.

2.Press PLAY of the desired line and begin speaking in a normal voice af- ter the beep. The display counts up the recording time.

Note: Press PLAY within 8 seconds after both line indicators start flash- ing. Otherwise, the TAD sounds a short beep, and you must start again from Step 1.

3.The TAD automatically stops record- ing after 60 seconds, or you can press STOP when you finish the memo. The TAD beeps once, and the message number indicator in- creases by one.

1. Hold down MEMO until the display

changes from to 2R. The TAD beeps, and both line indicators flash.

2.Press PLAY of the desired line. The selected line indicator lights and re- cording begins.
