10.2.1 Washing of the coffee groups

At the fixed time, if the automatic washing (par.2.6) mode is enabled, a message on the display requests to wash the coffee groups.

Keep “ENTER” button pressed to start washing until the display shows:

“Group Cleaning?” “press <ENTER>”

If you press enterwithin 10 seconds, the following cycle starts (if you do not leave this menu automa- tically):

- The display shows:

”Insert blind then <ENTER>”

-When you press enter”, the cleaning cycle starts and the display shows:

”Cleaning runnign”

The machine carries out n. 10 cycles as follows:

-Starts dispensing from the groups for 10 sec.

-Pauses for 10 sec.

At the end of the 10 cycles, the display reads:

”Remove filterh. press <ENTER>”

If you press enterthe display shows:

”Rinsing”

The machine carries out n. 2 cycles as follows:

-Starts dispensing from the groups for 30 sec.

-Pauses for 30 sec.

Keeping ‘’esc’’ pressed for 2 seconds, during the cycle the current washing phase will stop and the next phase will take place.

It is advisable to always complete the rinsing cycle to remove any detergent residues.

N.B. In the washing and rinsing phases the groups are operated alternatively.

In any case the washing of the coffee groups can be enabled whenever necessary according to the previously described procedure.

10.2.2TSC Washing (mod.DE) (Fig.24)

At the set time, if the automatic washing mode is enabled, a message on the display will request the TSC washing.

Prepare a container with water and detergent to re- move any milk. Insert the silicone pipe on the hose holder, remove the nozzle and immerse it into the container with detergent.

Immerse the lance into a half litre cold water bowl. Keep - button (2nd button) pressed to start washing until the display shows:

“TSC Cleaning?” “Press enter”

If enteris pressed within 10 sec.the following cycle will be started (otherwise you will automatically exit from this menu):

-the display will show:

Prep.detergent” “then <ENTER>”

-by pressing enterthe cycle will be started and the display will show:

“Washing under way”

no.2 dispensing cycles are carried out as follows:

-steam dispensing start for 20 sec.

-pause for 2 sec.

At the end of the 2 cycles the display will show:

“Prep.clean water” “ press <ENTER>”

Immerse the silicone pipe into a clean water bowl for rinsing. Replace the water of the bowl where the lance is immersed with cold clean water.

By pressing enterthe display will show

“Rinsing under way”

and no.2 cycles will start as follows:

-steam dispensing start for 40 sec.

-pause for 2 sec.

Keeping ‘’esc’’ pressed for 2 seconds, during the washing cycle the current phase is stopped and the next phase will take place.

It is advisable to always complete the rinsing cycle to remove any detergent residues.

Rinsing phases cannot be avoided.

In any case the TSC washing can be enabled whene- ver necessary according to the previously described procedure.

If during the washing cycle the water where the lance has been immersed exceeds 80°C, the message below will be displayed

“water temperat.

too high”

and the current cycle will be interrupted.

In this case replace the water where the lance is immersed with at least half litre of cold water and press “enter” to continue the washing cycle.
