SETUP/MENU — (Front Panel) In DVD Play modes (PLAY, RESUME STOP, etc.), press to display the DVD disc menu.
Additional Disc Playback Options
•To freeze playback, press PAUSE. To advance one frame at a time (DVD only), press PAUSE again.
•To resume normal playback, press PLAY.
•To skip to the next or previous chapter/track, press For J.
•To scan forward or backward at variable speeds, press @ or I.
•To play in slow motion, press SLOW/MEM.
•To stop playback, press STOP once. PRESS PLAY TO CONTINUE appears on the TV screen. To resume playback from the same place on the disc, press PLAY. To stop playback completely and restart the disc, press STOP twice.
BASIC RADIO FUNCTIONS
Presetting Radio Stations
1.Turn on the system and press RADIO on the remote control, or rotate FUNCTION SELECTOR to select FM or AM.
The last station received is tuned in and its band and frequency are displayed on the front panel display.
2.Press and hold TUNING +/- until the frequency starts to change. Then release.
Scanning stops when the system tunes in a station.
To tune in weak stations manually, press TUNING +/- repeatedly.
3.Press SLOW/MEM on the remote control or STORE PRESETS on the front panel.

Adjusting Stereo/Mono
If an FM station is noisy, press ST/MO.
•This turns off stereo sound, but may improve sound quality.
•To switch back to stereo, press ST/MO again. Stereo appears in the display.
•Not all stations are broadcast in stereo. For those stations without stereo, pressing the ST/MO button has no effect.
