2.Use e and d to adjust the bass and treble level from -10 to +10 dB.

RETURN TO 0:00:00

The ZERO key automatically fast-forwards or rewinds your tape to counter position 0:00:00.

1.Insert a VHS tape with recorded material in the VCR deck.

2.While the tape is stopped or playing, press ZERO.

3.The system will automatically rewind or fast-forward the tape to counter position 0:00:00.

NOTE: You can press RETURN/CANCEL to set the tape counter to

zero(0:00:00).

ADJUSTING SPEAKER LEVELS

You can adjust the volume level of each satellite speaker and subwoofer individually.

1.Press SPK LEVELS repeatedly.

Each press of the SPK LEVELS button will cycle through the speakers and display in the following order:

FL (Front Left),

CNTR (Center),

FR (Front Right),

SR (Surround Right),

SL (Surround Left),

SUB (Subwoofer),

VOLUME (All).

2.Use e and d to adjust the dB (decibel) level of the selected speaker relative to the other speakers.

3.Continue in this manner until you have balanced the speaker levels ideally for your listening area.

SETTING EQ MODES

The EQ MODE feature offers five preset equalizer settings.

1.Press EQ MODE to view the current EQ setting.

2.Press EQ MODE repeatedly to select STANDARD, CLASSIC, ROCK,

POP, JAZZ or SPEECH.

ADJUSTING BASS/TREBLE

1.Press BASS/TREB repeatedly to toggle between BASS and

TREBLE.

CHANGING SURROUND MODES

The SURROUND feature allows you to toggle between the current surround mode (Dolby Digital, DTS or Pro Logic) and stereo sound.

Press SURROUND repeatedly to toggle between surround sound and stereo sound.

In TV and VCR mode, the surround sound will change between Dolby Pro Logic and stereo sound.

In Disc mode, the suround sound will change between Dolby Digital/DTS and stereo sound with subwoofer.
