Chapter 7: Using the TV's Features

Adaptive Back Light

If this function is on, then TV will control the back light level automatically by Average Picture Level(APL). If this function is off, then user can control the back light level manually.

Adjusts the brightness level of the back light.

Increasing the back light level will result in a brighter picture and is recommended for use in brightly lit rooms. However, it will also decrease your black levels and results in a higher power consumption.

1.Press the MENU button to enter the on-screen menu and then press either the Down or Up button to select the Video sub-menu.

2.Press the OK button and then press the Down or Up button to select Adaptive Back Light.

3.Press the Left or Right button to select Off.

4.Press the Down or Up button to select Back Light.

5.Press the Left or Right button to adjust the selec- tion to your preference.

6.Press the MENU button to return to the previous menu.

Reset Picture Mode

When changing your settings, you can select the Reset Picture Mode option to restore the previous settings.

1.Press the MENU button to enter the on-screen menu and then press either the Down or Up button to select the Video sub-menu.

2.Press the OK button to enter the sub-menu and use the Down or Up button to select Reset Picture Mode.

3.Once the confirmation window appears, press OK to restore the previous settings.
