SETTING UP THE SYSTEM
CONNECTING AUXILIARY COMPONENTS
You can connect a laserdisc player, second VCR or camcorder/ video recorder to the VIDEO connection.
Using a paired (red/white) stereo cable and a single (yellow) video cable, connect your new audio system to the complimentary component as shown to the right.
To play laserdiscs or videos, press the VCR2•LD and then play.
NOTES: When using this connection for a second VCR, the recording option is not available.

Using audio cables, connect the left and right “OUT” audio jacks on the back of your TV to the TV audio jacks on the back of your audio system. Then use a video cable to connect the VIDEO OUTPUT jack on the back of your TV to connect to

CONNECTING FOR POWER
Plug the power cord into an AC power outlet that accepts the polarized plug — one blade wider than the other.
NOTE: The STAND BY indicator light will come on to let you know the system is plugged in and ready to use. This light will stay on as long as the stereo is plugged in so you can use the remote control to turn on and operate the system.
USING HEADPHONES
To listen privately to your favorite CDs, tapes or radio station, your system has been equipped with a PHONES jack on the front panel.
USING A MIC
Recording the MIC input with all signals from the functions such as CD, TUNER, VCR1, and VIDEO.

Make sure you turn down the stereo before you put on the headphones. Increase the volume to the desired level after headphones are in place.
