Hooking Up the TV/VCR

Connect Supplied Antenna, Antenna, or Cable System Without a Cable Box

Follow these steps to connect the supplied

 

 

 

antenna to your TV/VCR. Do not connect

 

 

 

this antenna if you plan to connect a

 

 

 

different type of indoor or outdoor antenna

 

 

 

or cable system.

 

 

 

1. Insert the antenna base into the slot on

the back of your TV/VCR.

 

 

 

2. Connect the twin-lead ends of the

 

 

 

antenna to the screw terminals of the

 

 

 

supplied antenna adapter.

3. Connect the antenna adapter to the

VHF/UHF connector on the back of the

TV/VCR.

 

 

 

4. Plug in the TV/VCR’s power cord.

 

 

 

5. Turn to page 2 for “Setting Up the

 

VHF/UHF

• For viewing VHF channels, extend the rods

 

 

 

fully.

 

 

 

• For UHF viewing, shorten the rods.
