Cleaning and Maintenance

Performance Guarantee

Clean Your Groomer Regularly

Clean your groomer regularly to ensure your unit’s operating life is not prematurely short- ened.

Cleaning attachments with water

Remove attachments.

Rinse attachments under warm running

water. Do NOT use hot

water, which may cause damage to components.

You can use a hair dryer on a cool or medium heat setting to help dry off the attach- ments, if desired.

!Do not use harsh or corrosive cleaners on the unit or its cutters.

!Do not apply pressure or hard objects to

cutters.

Oiling the blades

If you rinse the attachments, you will need to lubricate the cutter blades once a month with blade oil. Simply spread 1-2 drops of oil lightly over the cutters with your finger-tip. Wipe away any excess oil from the cutters or the groomer.

Oiling cautions

Use only the light-grade oil like sewing machine oil–these oils will not evaporate and will not slow down the blades.

Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with kerosene or solvent will evaporate and leave the thick oil, slowing the blades.

Cleaning with brush

Thoroughly brush and blow out hair clippings from cutter, bottom of attachments, and top of power handle.

Cleaning the MiniScreen shaver

!Do NOT rinse or oil MiniScreen shaver attachment. The unit is permanently lubricated.
