•Paper of different thickness in the same stack

•Envelopes heavier than 85g/m2, 22 lb.

•Folded, curled, creased, or damaged paper

•Torn paper

•Slippery paper

•Rough paper

•Paper with any kind of coating (such as carbon)

•Short grain paper

•Thin paper that has low stiffness

•Paper that may create a lot of dust

•Grained paper with the direction of the grain running opposite to the feed di-

rection

•Certain types of long thin envelopes.
