Power

By adjusting the Power settings the player can conserve energy and extend the amount of playback time during each battery charge.

1Press MENU.

2Select Settings.

3Press RIOSTICK.

4Select Power.

5Press RIOSTICK.

6Select Battery and Pwr Save options.

7Press RIOSTICK to apply settings and return to Playback mode.

Power options include:

•Battery

Although the Rio Fuse ships with an Alkaline battery, it can also use rechargeable Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries. The Battery option must be set to the same battery type that is being used or the battery indicator will not display the correct amount of battery life. Settings include Alkaline (the default setting) and NiMH.

•Pwr Save

Set the player to turn off after being idle for a specific number of minutes. Settings include 1m, 5m (the default setting), 10m, 30m, and Never.
