OPERATION – TITLE PROGRAMMING

Programmable Disc Title Memory

NOTE: A maximum total of 100 titles can be programmed into the unit.

The name of a Station, CD or AUX1 channel can be stored in memory using up to 10 characters as a title.

Title Memory

1.Select the mode you are going to be titling, (Tuner, CDP, CDX or AUX1). If in tuner mode, select the station to be titled.

NOTE: The disc to be titled must be in the unit, either in CDP or CDX, and selected.

2.Press and hold the BAND button for 1 second and the first digit of the 10-digit front panel will begin to blink.

3. Press the DISP button to cycle through the following character types:

Type 1: (space)ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

Type 2: abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

Type 3: 0123456789

Type 4: /\\.+?!*’")

4. Turn the VOLUME knob (Volume Outside) to select the proper character.

5.Press the SELECT button (Volume Center) to move to the next space.

6.Press and hold the SELECT button (Volume Center) for 1 second to store the title into memory.

Title Erasing

Press and hold the MUTE button for 1 second.

Turn the VOLUME knob to select the title for erasing.
