Options

 

 

 

NICAM programmes are divided into 3 types. NICAM Stereo, NICAM Mono and Bilingual (transmission in another language). NICAM programmes are always accompanied by a standard mono sound broadcast and you can select the desired sound by setting NICAM on or off.

With the unit in Stop mode, press the

MENU button on the remote.

2 Select “Setup” using †… buttons, then press the or OK button.

3 Using the †… buttons, move the selection bar to “System” then press or OK button to select.

5 Using the †… and OK buttons, select “On” or “Off”.

Off: Only set at this position to record the standard mono sound during a NICAM broadcast if the stereo sound is distorted due to inferior reception conditions.

On: NICAM mode

If you connect external device (VCR/satellite receiver/ cable box) or TV to DVD Recoder with Scart Jack(21pin), you need to set this options.

5 Using the †… and OK buttons, select “Video” or “RGB” to suit the AV terminal of TV.

AV2 input option will be set automatically according to the signal of external device (VCR/satellite receiver/cable box).
