Der DVD-Recorder und die Disks sind jeweils mit einem Ländercode versehen. Für die Wiedergabe müssen diese Codes zusammenpassen. Wenn dies nicht der Fall ist, kann die Disk nicht wiedergegeben werden.

Der für diesen DVD-Recorder erforderliche Ländercode ist auf der Rückseite des Geräts angegeben.
