-Un disco DVD-RW registrato con DAO (Disc At Once) in un PC non può essere non finalizzato.

-Non è possibile definalizzare un disco DVD-RW registrato nella modalità Video di un registratore di un'altra casa produttrice.

-I dischi DVD-R non possono essere definalizzati.
