DVD Auto Chapter

A DVD-Video consists of ‘Titles’ and ‘Chapters’. When you record one programme, it makes one Title.

If you use this function, the Title will be divided into Chapters.

A recording(a title) is automatically divided into chapters by inserting chapter markings at specifi ed intervals.

The markings are inserted while the recording is being made.

1.Press the ▲▼ buttons to select DVD Auto Chapter, then press the OK button.

2.Press the ▲▼ buttons to select Off, 5Min or 15Min, then press the OK button.

•Off : No chapter mark is inserted.

•5Min : Inserts chapter marks at approximately 5 minute intervals.

•15Min : Inserts chapter marks at approximately 15 minute intervals. Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.

3.Press the REC (•) button to start recording. (See page 53 about how to set recording mode)

4.Press the STOP button to stop recording.

5.To display the created titles, finalise the disc (See page 75) and then press the TITLE MENU button. The title menu will be displayed.

J The DVD Auto Chapter function does not work during Timer Recording or when you turn the power off.

When inserting a unused DVD-RW disc, you can select a recording format (VR mode or Video mode) according to your needs (Please refer to page 75).

•VR : Automatically formats the disc in VR mode

•Video : Automatically formats the disc in Video mode

This function allows you initialise and Finalise a disc automatically.

1.Press the ▲▼ buttons to select EZ Record, then press the OK button.

2.Press the ▲▼ buttons to select On, then press the OK button. Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.

3.Insert a disc.
