How to use the ASR (Advanced Shake Reduction) mode ( )

This mode will reduce the effect of camera shake and help you get a well- exposed image in dim conditions. Press the ASR icon.

Things to watch out for using the ASR mode

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. The digital zoom will not operate in the ASR

4.If the subject is moving the final image captured may be blurred.

5.Avoid moving the camera while the [Capturing!] message is displayed to achieve a better result.

6.As the ASR uses the camera’s digital processor, images taken using the ASR may take a little longer for the camera to process.

Wise Shot

Two images are taken at a time. One is taken in the Fill-In Flash mode and the other is taken in the ASR mode. You can select and save only one of the images.

How to use the Wise Shot

1.Select the ASR mode.

2.Press the continuous shot icon.

3.Press the > icon and the wise shot is selected.

4.Press the Shutter button to capture images

-Two images are captured in succession.

INFORMATION

In the Wise shot mode, the shutter speed value shown on the LCD monitor may be different to the actual shutter speed.
