Ezzel az alany képe lekicsinyíthető, azaz

távolabbinak tűnik. A ZOOM W gomb lenyomásával a fényképezõgépet folyamatosan a minimális zoom értékre állítja, azaz az alany a lehetõ legtávolabbinak tűnik a fényképezõgéptõl.

A digitális zoom funkcióval készített fényképek feldolgozása valamivel több időt igényel. Várja meg, amíg ez a folyamat befejeződik.

Ha a Zoom gombokat videóklip felvétele közben nyomják meg, hang nélküli felvétel készül.

A digitális zoom használata esetén a kép minőségének gyengülését tapasztalhatja.

A fényképezőgép bekapcsolásakor ügyeljen arra, hogy ne érintse meg a fényképezőgép mozgó lencsealkatrészeit, mert ellenkező esetben a kép homályos lehet.
