Az ISO-érték eredetileg a film fényérzékenysége a Nemzetközi Szabványügyi Szervezet (ISO, International Organisation for Standardisation) előírásainak megfelelően. Minél magasabb ISO-értéket választ, annál nagyobb lesz a fényképezőgép fényérzékenysége. Amikor nem használja a vakut, a jobb képek készítése érdekében használjon magasabb ISO-értéket és csökkentse a fényképezőgép rázkódását.
