Blænder

Blænden er en af de tre faktorer, der bestemmer eksponeringen. Blænderens hus indeholder tynde metalplader, der åbner og lukker for at lade lyset komme gennem blænderen og ind i kameraet. Blændens størrelse er relateret til mængden af lys: En større blænde tillader mere lys, og en mindre blænde tillader mindre lys.

Størrelsen af blænden angives som en værdi, der kaldes et “F-nummer.” F-værdien angiver brændvidden divideret med objektivets diameter. Hvis f.eks. et objektiv med en brændvidde på 50 mm har en f-værdi på F2, er blænderens diameter 25 mm. (50 mm/25 mm=F2) Jo mindre tallet er, jo større er blænderens åbning.

Åbningen i blænderen er beskrevet som eksponeringværdien (EV). Hvis man øger eksponeringsværdien (+ 1 EV), betyder dette, at mængden af lys fordobles. Hvis eksponeringsværdien reduceres (- 1 EV), halveres lysmængden. Du kan også bruge funktionen for eksponeringskompensationen til at finjustere mængden af lys ved at dele eksponeringsværdierne op i 1/2, 1/3 EV osv.
