Støj

“Misfortolkede" pixels i et digitalt billede, der anbringes forkert, eller tilfældige, lysende pixels. Støj opstår normalt, når et billede optages med en høj følsomhed, eller når følsomheden indstilles automatisk på mørke steder.

NFC (Near Field Communication)

NFC er et sæt af standarder for radiokommunikation på meget korte afstande. Du kan bruge enheder med NFC-funktion til at aktivere funktioner eller udveksle data med andre enheder.

NTSC (National Television System Committee)

En farvekodestandard for video, der mest bruges i Japan, Nordamerika, Filippinerne, Sydamerika, Sydkorea og Taiwan.

PAL (Phase Alternate Line)

En farvekodestandard for video, der bruges i flere lande i Afrika, Asien, Europa og Mellemøsten.

Kvalitet

Et udtryk for den grad af komprimering, der anvendes på et digitalt billede. Billeder med højere kvalitet har en lavere komprimeringsgrad, og det medfører oftest en større filstørrelse.

RAW (CCD-rå data)

De oprindelige, ubehandlede data, som er indsamlet direkte fra kameraet billedsensor. Hvidbalance, kontrast, mætning, skarphed og andre data kan manipuleres med redigeringssoftware, før billedet komprimeres til et standardfilformat.

Optisk zoom

Dette er en generel zoom, der kan forstørre billeder med et objektiv, og som ikke forringer billedkvaliteten.

Opløsning

Det antal pixels, der findes i et digitalt billede. Billeder med høj opløsning indeholder flere pixels og viser typisk flere detaljer end billeder med lav opløsning.
