Jak clona, expoziční doba a citlivost ISO ovlivňují expozici

Clona, expoziční doba a citlivost ISO jsou ve fotografii úzce svázány. Nastavení clony určuje otvor, jímž prochází světlo do fotoaparátu, expoziční doba pak určuje dobu, po níž se tak děje. Citlivost ISO popisuje rychlost, jakou film reaguje na světlo. Dohromady se tyto tři aspekty popisují jako expoziční trojúhelník.

Změnu expoziční doby, hodnoty clony nebo citlivosti ISO je možné vykompenzovat druhými dvěma veličinami beze změny množství světla. Výsledky se však mění v souladu s nastavením.
