Enter the number you want to store by using the number keypad.

When the number appears correctly in the LCD, press START/COPY.

If you want to assign name to the number, enter the name.
4 If the button is already storing a fax or phone number, the LCD will show the number. To delete all of the number or name, press 4 when flashing line is at the first digit.
To correct a digit, use the ) or 4 to move the flashing line under the digit, then enter the correct digit.
4 You can use any characters on the number keypad, including “ # ” and “ * ”. To insert a pause between numbers, press REDIAL/PAUSE; a “P” appears on the Display.

If you assign a name to the number, you can take advantage of the directory dialing feature of your machine. For information about directory dialing, see page 4.6.
