In-Call Options
Rejecting a Waiting Call
If you have subscribed to the Call Waiting network
service and activated it (menu option 8-3; see
page79), you can reject the waiting call and
continue with your current conversation. When the
second call is received, the phone rings and the
following screen is displayed.

To reject the waiting call, press the Rejectsoft key
or .
Muting/Se nding Ke y To n e s
This feature allows you to turn the key tones off for a
specific call. If you select the DTMF OFFoption, your
phone does not transmit the key tones during the call.
The option is then automatically re s e tto O n.
N o t e: To communicate with answering machines or
computerised telephony systems, the D T M FO N
option must be selected.
Using the SMS Serv i c e
If you receive an SMS (Short Message Service) m e s-
sage during a call, the message icon ( ) appears.
After you have finished your call, you can read the
message: refer to page 58 for further details.
