1	Create a note
	In Idle mode, open the application list and select S Note.
2	Select → a template.
3	Enter text, draw a sketch, or add a photo or sound clip.
4	For more information about creating a note, see page 57.
	To add a page, select → a page type.
5	When you are finished, select Save.

To create a note by importing a PDF or image file,

1	In Idle mode, open the application list and select S Note.
2	Press [ ] → Import → a file format → a file.
3	If you selected an image file, resize the image, and then
4	select Save → a template.
	Select or tap the screen to switch to the Edit mode.
5	Create a note with the icons on the screen. ► p. 57
6	When you are finished, select Save.

3	Double-tap and select a tool.
	●● Formula match: Convert a handwritten formula to a
	well-organised formula. Select Search to get detailed
	information about the formula.
	●● Shape match: Convert shapes you have drawn.
	●● Handwriting-to-Text: Convert a handwritten note.
	●● Knowledge search: Select	to search for information
	about the handwritten keyword on a preset webpage.
	When you tap and hold	, the tool panel will appear
	and you can switch between tools easily.
