You can enter text by selecting characters on the virtual keypad or by writing on the screen.

Text entry is not supported in some languages. To enter text, you must change the input language to one of the supported languages.

Tap and hold the text field, and then select Input method → a text input method.

Tap the first character of a word, and then drag your finger to the second character without lifting your finger from the screen.

Continue until you have finished spelling the word.

Lift your finger.

When the device recognises the correct word, select to insert a space. If the device does not recognise the correct word, select an alternative word from the list that appears.
